words of wisdom

Christy posted 20 Things Every New Nurse Needs to Know. Thanks Christy!

I don't know if it's the area I live in, but I find one thing incredibly annoying while traversing the area's roadways, and that is people who don't use their turn signals. There are also the ones who wait until just before they turn to give us the ole blinker.

Sure when you're coming up on a right or left turn and the person in front of you starts braking it's a sign they're going to turn, but wouldn't some advanced warning be nice?

Then there are the people who just love their brakes and feel the need to ride them incessantly....so you're left unsure.

How about when people change lanes? Is it too much to ask to signal first? What do people think that little projection sticking out from their steering wheel is?

Well, it's not just for rainy days.

Grr.

I'm keeping this short today since we're learning about fluids, electrolytes and acid-base balance. I need to spend a lot of time studying.

Story of my life!
